Kacey Montoya declares that a panel created by the Legislature claims that the state authorities should have the main role in promoting health,medical cost control and universal acces to health care.Thursday,the Oregon Health Fund Board released a draft containig its proposals and its waiting for a decision.The spokesman of this group declare to Kacey Montoya that this is an effort to improve the quality of the Oregon's medical system.
Kacey Montoya , our special reporter,found that the members of this group intend to extend until 2009 the health coverage to more children and low-income adults,the funds needed for this projects coming from taxes on health care providers.Oregon Health Fund Board intends to create a Oregon Health Authority,an organization that would handle the Oregon's health system improvement efforts.
